Our History

Ronnie and John met in 1995 while serving together on the Board of Directors for TN Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS). Their passion for EMS as a profession as well as their desire to promote excellence in EMS education, training, and the delivery of quality service, immediately blended. In May 2006, Ronnie, John, and Jessica, embraced the idea of forming their own corporation which would enable professionalism in EMS and raise the standard for out of hospital health care by ensuring the highest quality and continuity of Continuing Education and Medical Training.

After grueling planning sessions, the application to become Benchmark Medical Services, LLC came to fruition in January 2007. A tireless work ethic, determination, and sacrifice are just a few of the characteristics this team shares. The energy with which all three engage in the profession is certainly one to emulate. The commitment of Ronnie, John, and Jessica to the business investment clearly demonstrates the determination and perseverance to establish Benchmark Medical Services as one of the largest minority-owned, private provider of medical services and entrepreneurial healthcare continuing education.
